A day in the life with us!
You will be part of the department responsible for work environment, health, and safety issues. In the role of Fire Safety Coordinator, your main focus will be to maintain and follow up on statutory routines and working methods. Your tasks will include:
- Developing, coordinating, and supporting the entire organization's implementation of systematic fire and explosion protection work.
- At the local level, being responsible for evacuation and action plans as well as for governing processes and routines in the areas of fire, explosion, and crisis coordination.
- Holding the role of permit responsibility for flammable materials.
- Coordinating & being responsible for training in fire safety and ATEX.
- Participating in authority inspections and external audits as well as planning & conducting internal audits and fire safety rounds.
- Being part of internal and external networks and acting as a contact person for authorities & insurance companies.
So who are you?
We are looking for someone with documented competence and experience in similar roles, such as fire safety coordinator within the process industry. To succeed in this role, you need to have good experience and deep knowledge of applicable legislation regarding fire and explosion protection as well as work environment legislation. Good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English are required. Experience in communication with authorities is also an advantage. We conduct alcohol and drug tests upon hiring.
